I was passing by a flea market today and got this compilation of disks from the owner for 5euros. The Corporate Disk contains pics of the Linux Disc, Pics of the Corporate staff, and a loooong contact list. The 1st Party Disk contains info and screens of the 1st party games for the PS2 The 3rd Party Disk contains info and screens of some 3rd party games for the PS2 Photos hosted here. My question is. Is this worth anything? And does anyone know of its existence?
I have one and I know friends and fellow collectors who have a copy as well. I have no idea about rarity but for value I would say not more than a regular press kit as this was distributed to a Sony party during the E3 in the early 2000's.
Generally I've found that there is little interest in press kits unless there is info about an unreleased game or a game/series with a cult following. Silent Hill, Resident Evil , Zelda etc There are collectors who only collect items from a particular series like this and if they don't have it already then they will be interested. ---edit--- I see from your signature that you too are a series collector of a cult popular title. You are interested in the cult game series Earthbound/Mother so you should know exactly what I mean.
If I remember correctly, this was given in a bag along with a tshirt, a keyring and a brochure with promotional information about upcoming games.
