    If I had an actually development kit like this, I would actually use it and not just let it sit on the shelf for collecting. Especially if you have 2 of them ;)

    From what I've been told they usually break in the post, which is what happened to my one, and it hasn't been running right ever since.

    I've 2 corrupted hard drives and the PS2 boards keep coming away from the main board.

    Correct, PS2 Tools are impossible to ship properly almost.
    From the approx 5 I had, 4 arrived broken to some point due to shipping.

    I've been working on ways around this though. I just installed dsnet on my red hat 10 (fedora core 1) workstation last night and now it tries to connect to dsnet every-time it loads. I'm going to rebuild the other Sony packages and try other distributions on my TOOL. But what I've found is that it needs both hard drives to work correctly.

    I have two left for sale, it's in great shape with a perfect stand asking $600 obo on it.

    Shipping is $50 sadly due to costs. It's 40 pounds. It needs $20 in packing materials.
    It costs me $70 to mail it my costs, but it's unreasonable for the seller to charge for materials.

    They are same as the pictures I have, but much , much finer condition.
