The latest logitech ones. The weight is just right and they are very sturdy and ergonomic. They are coated in a tactile rubberised finish and the charge lasts a long time too. Downside: They cost a small fortune.
Surprisingly TDK made some wireless controller for the PS2 a while ago and sold them in France (as far as I know never saw them elsewhere) and they are crap so avoid them at all cost. Build quality is good but response time is at least 2 billion lightyears from the GC wavebird which is fantastic!!! I never tested any over one but at least you know one to avoid. Sabre
the newest logitech ones are good as i have used them once or twice and they seem to be perfect but yes they do cost a small fortune, Mad Catz ones are also quite good from what i've heard and they should be a resonable prce as well. Don't buy any Competition pro ones as ifoolishly bought 2 for my xbox and they seemed to disable buttons and stop even with fully charged batteries
Definitly the logitech ones, they might be expensive but they are damn fine quality. Even the older models if you can find them offer great quality although i've been told they have a much weaker battery life.
Thanks for the replies guys. The Logitech one looks good. Be nice not to have to drag out the extension cord to play from the couch.
Which logitech model exactly? Do you mean this one? http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=2679376
Noooo not the Logitech one! Get the one that is produced by Sega and endorsed by Sony: http://au.gear.ign.com/articles/409/409786p1.html Later revised to http://www.fountech.com/airstyle.html I've got one myself (first generation) and its fantastic
Actually, the AirStyle was only later rebadged as a Sega one (for a worldwide launch, I guess). It's made by Fountech, and you could probably pick up some cheap if you tried to find the ones that don't have the Sega badge on them (they're still identical, so no loss in quality).
