I don't know if this has been posted before and it could be old news to some others, but I thought I'd post this because I'm impressed at how he attached the LCD screen and cut out the controller to fit ontop of the PSTwo, because that is what he is actually using.

Its not that portable since you still have to plug it in, but watch the video anyway.

Very nice but I'd say you'd waste half the battery waiting for thegame to load !! Never seen a game take so long since the original PSX 10 years ago !

Nice layout, but where are the L/R buttons?

BTW, after all that rewiring he could add a 2.5 or 1.8 HDD and run the games from there for better lading times and battery life.

    Dunno, thats what I would.

Didn't Heckendorm start doing something like this with one of the brick ones?

This looks pretty cool, but I don't know. There's the disc scratching, there's skipping, and even more skipping if there's vibration on the controller.

Still, though, I wish I could ever make something even half as well done.

The way the guy handles the disk is already a scratch heaven.

A curious thing nobody noticed. That thing has a modchip installed. A Matrix Infinity to be more precise. The Matrix logo shows up in the boot and below the PlayStation 2 logo (including the modchip firmware version)

I did, thats why I say he could rewire the HDD port and use a laptop 2.5 HD and HDloader instead of the DVD.

Ugly, although I suppose it's funtional enough. Isn't the idea of portablizing a console to make is compact and, you know, portable? All this guy did was duct tape a screen and controller to a ps2 slim. Shit, I could do that.

Not wanting to piss on anybodys chips, but all he seems to have done is shortened a few cables and glued it on top of each other.

It's not as ugly as those '3-in-one' consoles made out of crappy cut wood...

The guy seems to have a great undertanding of electronics and such.

He could easily add an HDD to save both battery and load times.

About how he handles the discs, dude the guy is holding a camera, the PStwo and the disc all at the same time:rolleyes:
