Hey guys. Just get a PS3 game image. Seems AT3 is common audio format in PS3 and PSP. I googled for it and I found following topic: http://www.ps3news.com/forums/psp-news/create-custom-snd-at3-wad-files-2776.html I installed Sony ATRAC3 Audio Codec 0.98 (latest version has been released back in 2004), but my media players still don't play it. Is there any difference between PSP and PS3 AT3? Could you please look at this AT3? http://rapidshare.com/files/416466962/SND0.AT3 It's from Uncharted title screen.
GoldWave. Open file, save as WAV (yes, WAV) and select ATRAC3 from "attributes". There are guides around. YMMV when it comes to PS3 AT3s though.
i believe it's like with psp that it's not ATRAC3, instead it's ATRAC3+ which isn't playable on any windows app or so (as far as my google search ever provided me with) and is also not compatible with goldwave. there's also that part where every bit of data is encrypted in ps3 disks by default
PSP is indeed ATRAC3+ and I just tested the suggested trick with HiMdRendererWin. Success. HiMdRendererWin uses Sonic Stage's OMA playback subsystem to decrypt the files. Great stuff. Does not work for PS3 AT3 files though.
there was no atrac, but i installed codec in different way and it appeared i saved it, than changed extension from *.wav to *.at3 and it works great on ps3 on game title screen
Faced a new problem. I'm working on Devil may cry 4 now. There are 6-channel wavs. GoldWave can't work with it. Here's sample: http://rapidshare.com/files/418039429/m01_100s.rar How to convert 6-channel files into ATRAC? which tools support both codec selection and 6-channel files? I really need to do it
You'd probably need official tools to do that. PS3 SDK maybe? Assuming, of course, you're a licenced developer. Ahem.
