Looking to see if any body else has run into this issue. I have a PS3 controller CECHZC2U-A1 model controller that, even after swapping out membranes and adding a thicker foam pad, the right d-pad wont register. I've gone as far as cleaning the pads on the PCB to just dipping the whole thing in an ultrasonic cleaner. Yet the right d-pad only fails to register. I am the original owner of the controller so it wasn't open prior to my attempts to fix it. I have other controllers but this one's issue just seems to bug me. Does anybody have a clue as to what it might be?
maybe the Ribbon Circuit Board is gone ? ............i recently did a replacement for one of my PS2 Controllers and it works great now. http://assemblergames.com/l/threads/ps2-controller-some-buttons-work-others-dont.59138/#post-867851
