PS3 Controller?

anyone know where this one is from? strange also that it can only work as controller 1 not as 2,3 or 4?

i got a few bits from a dev studio and my mate there gave me this with some other bits of hardware. I got a bunch of controllers from him most sixaxis the others are just normal ones bar this and another that doesnt connect via wireless only USB that one has no sticker on the back bar saying USB only on a small bit hand writen tape.

 

Is it transparent?

Maybe the controller would acted normal if used on a Reference Tool.

That depends. The only way to tell that is to look inside for differences. I have two PS1 controllers that came with my 1995 Dev Kit and they look 100% the same as the regular digital controllers even thought they were made about 1 month before the PS1 was released in the US.
