PS3 debugging station

According to a recent FCC document(available since 09/13/2006):

EUT stands for Equipment under test, the regular ps3 here.

If Sony followed their naming rules, the debug station whose name ends with a 'S' is for use at trade shows, with the regular playstation 3 logo, I wonder what is written on the other debugs...and I want one!

The next interesting documents will be posted on 10/28/2006, unless Sony requests a 45 days extent of the short term confidentiality period:

The FCC product code for the ps3 is CBEH1000.

And it seems that the ps3(retail, debug and devkit)cannot use the wifi and bluetooth at the same time...

Can't use wifi and BT? that wouldnt make alot of sense considering the controllers will be used for online play that happens to be on Wifi maybe they mean networking over BT cannot be used at the same time as WiFi?

The ps3 can use networking over BT?

I hear the unit contains an option to disable HDCP through HDMI. Can anyone confirm this? Also would this be more of a TEST than a TOOL?

 

Yes, this is a TEST, not a TOOL.

The PS3 TOOL equal is an ugly beast that looks like it was designed by the rejects from the Betamax home division.
