    Hey everyone,

So I have a PS3 Reference Tool from Ubisoft (I believe it came from Ubisoft Montreal, because the region was set to NA, timezone matches Canadian, stickers on the console are in French). It doesn't have any games, however, there are Assassin's Creed Black Flag and AC Rogue install game data, it also contains some save data of these games. The date of the console was incorrect, but based on my calculations AC Rogue game data (which is approx. 4.5GB) is dated back to August 2014. Save data is earlier. Some oldest game data and save data doesn't have icons, some PARAM files of save data have both AC Black Flag and Rogue labels. I was unable to get Rogue working by mixing install data with retail version, the game just freezes. Size of almost all the files are different compaired to the final version. There are 2 'Property of Ubisoft' stickers.

Is this console worth more than a standart DECR-1000 one? If yes, how much could I get? Thanks.

Why did you mix prototype data that was undumped with the retail version?
Please tell me you made a backup before doing this because you may have just killed any chances of recovering prototype data if it was there

Of course I have a backup :D Dumping my HDD was the first thing I did after getting the console.

Just an FYI but good chance that did not come from Mtl and came from one of the other studios (either Quebec City or The studio in the USA that helped on the vita game). All ubisoft owned hw have the same french property sticker (it is a french company after all).

(just my two cents as a former ubi mtl dev).

Oh, I see, thanks for the info.

In any case, how much is it worth?

If the drives just have install data and nothing else, I really doubt you will find much rare left on it so probably same cost as a normal DECR but that is just IMO. As for what is the normal price I could not say, maybe check the sales thread for others selling DECR units.

A normal DECR is around $150-$200. Shipping it almost costs as much as the unit itself though.
