6-11 million 360? i really think 90% of them will be displace in USA... sony, microsoft an nintendo have to understand one thing for this new battle: europe will be the most important market to conquer. european market is as big or bigger then the jap and usa one and one really important particular of the european market is that euro players are quite against buying more then 1 console per generation... tha is IMPORTANT to understand and conquer that market. most of the european player will wait for ps3 and revolution before buying a 360... so the advantege is veeeery small for microsoft..... this is just my tought... any comments or correction?
I am totally done with new media formats and home theatre systems. First I did the svhs thing when it came out, then the laserdisc, pc media system and now dvd. I bought and upgraded the corrosponding sound and display systems as the technology got better ever 5-10 years. Now I could give a hoot because it seems like new stuff comes out every 1-3 years. I don't have time to watch movies and keep up on new gadgets like I did before, so a standard sub-$2000 USD TV and dvd is fine for me. Has anyone else got "media" apathy lately or is it just me? I really could care less about blue-ray. There going to have to force me to buy it because at this point I prefer investing in my retirement.
December is for any release. But I am betting they might miss christmas as it's not a big gift holiday in Japan.
It was my understanding that the 360 was doing well in Europe. It might as well... Microsoft is virtually the only company right now not making Europeans wait for a year for the "hot new items!" Or I could be totally wrong.
at least for copuntry not so rich as italy, normal people have no chance to afford themselves more than _ONE_ next generation console... so they are just waiting to make comparisons... i'm doing the same too... 299 euro are 1/3rd of my salary... and nobody would spend that much for a machine that could fail in such bad economic moment... save for rich people i mean
