Although Ninja Gaiden Sigma is out in two days, it's just a prettier Xbox 360 title and there is Folks Soul too, there are some games coming out which do look quite nice. Mina no Golf 5 is nice but the other games in the series just did well rather then brilliantly, so I dont expect people to rush out and buy a PS3 for it, although it's on my buy list. The game I am most excited about is Wangan Midnight which looks like quite a nice racer, be interesting to see what it's like but the screens and trailer make it look like a next gen racer (although a anime like one). Again on my buy list (and its out the same day as the title above...) 26th July. :nod: Sonys favourite PS3 third party, Koei, are releasing Bladestorm in August and the trailers for it look fairly impressive. http://www.jp.playstation.com/software/ps3/ Although none of these titles are going to shift many more PS3s they are more decent games in a time when the PS3 needs them. Last I heard Wangan Midnight was also heading to 360 As is Bladestorm The PS3 does have decent games.........it's just that they just happen to also be on 360 The reasons people will buy a PS3 is for the fantastic First Party Games Sony puts out.....unless by some twist of fate they lose those too like they lost Spyro and Crash.
I can't find any evidence that Wangan Midnight is coming out on the Xbox 360 apart from a couple of websites that seem to list it as Q1 of 2008 for both the PS3 and 360... As WM hasn't been released in the US as either a Manga or Anime there would be no market for it and I can't see the point of releasing the game on the 360 in Japan as it would have a tiny market... Again the developers website only lists the PS3 and PSP... I think as the Namco Arcade game is based on Sega Chihiro hardware (which is a xbox system for the arcade) people assumed it would be an Xbox release, even thought Genki are doing the game and are not doing the arcade version... Bladestorm seems to be heading for the Xbox 360 according to the game meida, but again the Japanese website for the developer only lists the PS3 version so far, which given as Fatal Inertia is listed for the PS3 and Xbox 360 seems strange they haven't listed it for the 360... The press release for Bladestorm also only mentions the Playstation 3, in fact going to the Wiki listing for Bladestorm does indeed list it for the PS3 and 360, but the source (the siade press release) only mentions the PS3... ditto any mention on the Koei website of Bladestorm again only mentions the PS3.... So at the moment I we can safely say they are coming out on the PS3 only at the moment...
