I didn't buy a iPod I got the new Zen nano plus from Creative Labs. May be only 1 Gig but that will do me. The question is why didn't I buy the iPod like all the other soft sods? Well, Price was a main concern since all I want to do is listen to music. Battery life was another and finally I don't like the iTunes interface. With the Zen it's drag and drop plus you can play protected files as well thanks to the software that comes with it. This is how I see the Wii against the PS3. Wii is heavily advertised unlike other MP3 players so they have he publics attention. Add the fact it's a hell of a lot cheaper, looks nicer, easier to store on a shelf or next to the TV due the compact size, easy to get in to and that twat in a hat, Mario. I asked a few friends (male & female) what they would buy. They all know the PlayStation brand yet all apart from one said the Wii. Three said because they have a DS and they think the Wii is just like a DS for the house ??? Not too sure what they are smoking but at least Nintendo won't care  1 guy opted for the PS3 because he MUST own Sony items (this guy has nothing but Sony stuff, then again he is a tit!) while the other said he would buy the Wii because he's tired of the graphics race and just wants to enjoy his games. He thinks Wii will provide his enjoyment plus it was cheap. So there you have some opinions of 5 of my friends who don't read game magazines or watch game TV shows (Then again we don't have any in Japan) Yakumo
I cam imagine Yakumo harassing people with a microphone for an interview , while wearing his SEGA cap, shirt and boots:lol::lol::lol:
In japan? man they would beat him to death, like when those kids stole my orange Dreamcast bike:dance:
Whats really interesting about using the eye toy is that anything becomes a controller. So rather than re-use the wiimote for everything it can use a real golf club. Whats really damning to the continual Sony stealing Nintendo ideas arguments, is that Sony demonstrated it 18 months ago. http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3140617 "Marx hooked up an EyeToy to the on-stage PlayStation 3 and proceeded to wow the audience. In the technical demo, there were two glasses in the background, which Marx drew our attention to when he appeared with two glasses in his hand. He then proceeded to literally scoop water up from inside the virtual world, and pour it into the other cup via the EyeToy's visual recognition sensors" smf
They only have to release a StarWars/Jedi game that uses the eyetoy to emulate a sword and there you go: the killer-apt that will destroy all the hype anyone has on the Wii...
I can assure you sir, the 64 did not "die".ever. I respect Sony's vision of integration and I think their Eye-Toy was something great. Nevertheless, keep in mind that MS has also got its own web-cam (pretty damn good one, i m surprised it's not "hd" ) which makes me wonder why the hell MS is not joining the motion-sensor-festival that is going on on nintendo's and sony's treehouses!
Honestly I dont think MS is copying more than sony does, in fact their visual recognition system is just amazing, you dont need a controller of any kind at all, just move your hands or body and it will read it. If they release that the 3rd partie controller industry is t3h d34d...
well I had a lot of "misses" playing Totem Ball, which implies that controlling the damn thing isn't the easiest task around, especially compared to something like playing Monkey Ball on Wii.
