PS3 OFW downgrade problem?

My PS3 Devkit is OFW 4.40. I plan to use the 4.84.1 DECR LE. How do I downgrade to FW 3.55? THX

 

I don't remember having to downgrade my debug, I thought they only blocked CFW on retails as you're not supposed to downgrade them.

You should be able to downgrade just by installing it, because the development kits are allowed to be downgraded.

 

Do you mean that Devkit can flash any version of OFW?

 

You need to use the decr OFW 3.55 update, there are weird firmware limitations on tools. Btw for ease of use probably best to copy the updater to the hdd when prompted

 

Flash OFW 3.55 directly under DevKit's XMB?
