So basically, you're burning the equivalent to 200 hours of work, which translates to 25 days of work using an 8 hours/day estimate, for a PS3. Now, before anyone says "25 days? thats nothing..." I remind you all the first PS2s didnt last even half that much:110::lol:
No way im buying one at anywhere near that price. Thats more then my monthly paycheque when i was working part time.

There's no way in hell I'd be spending that kind of cash on a videogame console, especially since nothing worth playing will be probably be released any time around launch. Add to that the fact I'd have to invest in a decent HD TV to get anything truly remarkable out of it... guess I'll keep my £1500 instead.
Just get a Wii with a few games for half the price then impress your mates by looking like a total loon waving your arms about. :thumbsup: Wii, is the way to go. I only hope every game gives you the option NOT to look like a nut. Yakumo
Hopefully I should be tax-free, but I have a few things I'll be flogging to help pay for it. It's the HDTV Alchy mentioned that I'll have to buy which is the killer.
I'll be getting a nice cheap 360 the day the ps3 comes out. Surely Microsoft will be doing some special deals round then to try and kill the others thunder.
