    Was that intentional?

Showing the modified Dual Shock alongside one of the first PSone titles?

A little mix of the old and the new, eh? ;)

Ya know, I have this sick love for the game, I wanted Ridge Racer but that was the only game I could get my hands on at launch. I grew to love it and pamper it. BTW if anyone knows anything about this controller please let me know, my PC reads it as "Playstation 3 Controller"it's all I can do with it, I can't get it to work with my Sega CD Emulator!

Toshinden is a cool game don't worry there's many others like you.

It was so cool the Saturn just couldnt handle its coolness.

I want the boomerang thingy :/
Toshinden had that great music and atmosphere... a true classic.

But the saturn had virtua fighter, which despite it's problems at launch is still FAR better than Toshinden.

I'll take a deep gameplay over shallow visuals any day of the week.

And speaking of the boomerang, does anyone know what sort of numbers they made, and did they ever get to the point of handing them out to a select few devs?

I also like Toshinden, but i think Toshinden 2 is the best of the series. Anyway, the first one is not that bad (apart from control problems), but at least isn't terrible like URA.

It also had an improved version of Tohshinden with a new character. Still shite though  I actually thought Tohshinden URA was better than the first game. Anyway, all Toshinden games are pretty bad in the control department. Surprisingly Takara sort of made a good effort with DXird on the Saturn. 3D areans, transparencies, lighting and actual moves !! Still shit compared to Sega's 3D fighters though

Indeed they are. But the 2nd is the not so bad :110:

And of course, there's no comparison between Sega and Takara. This also reminds me that i still need to find a cheap copy of VF4: Evolution.
