I have recently purchased some prototypes and am running into trouble testing them on my PS3. It has been a few years since I used the PS3. It is currently running Rogero CFW 4.55. I am copying the files of the original discs on my PC and transferring them over FTP. When I try to start them I get error code 80010017. From what I can gather this means that I need to patch them...? I have limited time to dive into fixing this right now so I was hoping that this was one of those problems where there is a quick fix. BTW all protos have burn date 2011 so they shouldn't require the latest firmware.

Any help on this would be great, thanks!

Something like this is exactly what I was looking for - at first glance anyway. Thank you PixelButts for the prompt answer as well as writing the tutorial in the first place. It's been well over a decade since I was active (consolevision/dcemu way back then) and I had totally forgot how awesome and helpful you likeminded people are. Thank for reminding me :)

No problem. I'm just glad that tool was brought to my attention. Without it I wouldn't have made that guide.
