As you all know, sony made it possible to connect their new line of VAIO laptops to the ps3 just like the psp. The software to make this possible is already 'improved' to work on every other computer, provided they are running windows 7. VAIO tool: http://tinyurl.com/sonyvrp Patch for VAIO tool: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=4A9RZFOD Have fun!
thanks guys =) does it support Remote Start as well through the PC?is it only local or internet-wide like the PSP? (I m guessing LAN only considering that the internet stuff goes through sony's checks and securities..)
Weird, i have now replaced the link with the original tinyurl i've got. I'm sure the link thelastuser provided is also fine I have not tested it myself, still running xp here.
I've not had time to try it either.. and yea the link i posted is the same build as the link dutchconsolefreak just fixed.
I know sony was trying to make this a + to buy their vaio devices but seriously, they might as well just integrate it into MediaGo for free and try getting more people on Media Go (Atm its actually really good for PSP users as you can now dl multiple things with out even having to plug your psp into your PC, once all is dl you can plug in and install all of them at once).
Sony didn't Sony Ericsson did though. The Aino if I remember correctly is one such example. Remote play isn't anything special though, I do similar things over OpenVNC and a PC with my nokia n900 (a la PSP). I wish there was a linux port of remote play and someone would port it to Qt4/Maemo5
Yep. Someone even hacked up a basic PC access to Remote Play by stealing a key file off the PSP (since the core of remote play is open ports stream for video and input).
