ps3 slim video issue

    I got a friend that just got a broken ps3 slim from a friend and i've been thinking about buying it from him on the cheap and fix it. Supposely the video looks corrupted. Is this a known easily fixable issue? could it be just the gpu overheating or do i need to reflow the gpu?

    Its probably GPU reflow. Its not overheating.

    Proper reflow, not this heatgun crap everyone seems to think makes them into a reflow god.
