This little social experiment got old after the first time it was performed on a new console. Someone who was at there commented on how noone really cared, just a few people asked why. They were all waiting in line to go into a Best Buy which had a tent setup with all 3 next gen consoles. So really I doubt this had any impact on a lot of people there.
its an old thing*the whol Smash my _____ thing* but i have to admit. the ps3 is pretty solid. it took a drop and a blow or two to break the outer shell off
I dont think he was a fanboy, more like a common guy who stood there for 2 days. If he were a fanboy I´m sure he would kick that transvestite ass...
Well it helped that when people were standing in line for the 360 (most of them) wanted to PLAY it versus sell it on eBay. If I was in line and was the guy after the last one to get it and I wanted to actually get a PS3 that guy would definately be assaulted. When your motivations are monetary you don't care about fanboy politics which is what I felt when I say that movie, along with a lot of apathy. Now had he done this at the Sony Metreon he not only would have been assaulted by the crowd but by the guards.
This is childish, dumb, and fanboyish / asshole-ish. Why spend $600 just to break a system even if you don't like it?! I don't see why people do this shit.
btw. which was the first console to die such a death i think i can remember till xbox but was this also done for ps2 or ps1 and before ? (the whole thing came into run when the internet got its rise with the hightech bubble but who knows)
I did a PS1 but that was far more comical than these efforts. My PSX had a face and everything Yakumo
It's a piece of plastic. I don't see what the problem is. It's not your's, and if you do own one it made it more valuable.
What a bunch of fuckwits Nearly funny the first time........2nd/3rd boring If I was in that Q waiting for one and someone did that, I would take the hammer to him By the way the guy with the hammer was a tart, nearly missed with the first swipe
