US PS3 Test

Up for sale is a PS3 Test unit, I've been holding on to this for awhile but can't I have opened this unit up to replace thermal paste (and it hasn't ran hot since) and to give it a non-cracked faceplate (I guess that's what it's called)

It's on FW Version 4.75 currently but CAN BE UPDATED! (You can use OFW DEX FW) You can access PSN (Last time I checked to play Destiny)

Comes with Controller, Headset, and Console. $350 OBO.

 

You got a pic of the dech label on back? With the side panel missing "Test" on it, it could be argued it's a retail running dex firmware.....

 

Everything is scratched off, it came to me like this. But you cannot update converted units, which I can record a video of it updating for proof if that's what you need.

 

Please provide a picture of the XMB's Debug section.
Furthermore, the price for it with no sticker to validate what model it is, as well as a front cover that isn't original is pretty high.

There should be more than one sticker that says the model. One that has the serial, one that has the FCC info on it as well.

 

I'm open to offers. I know the condition isn't the greatest but it's served me for many years.

 

So you're telling me BOTH stickers are also gone?
I dont want to sound like I dont believe you, but it's hard to just roll with it. The original cover plate may be cracked but that's still better to keep with the original system too as it's another way to show it's real.

Can you show the PS3 startup? Maybe the cracked cover plate?

 

I do not have the cracked cover plate as I got this years ago. I am uploading a video now for you, but after that I won't be posting any more due to me moving and don't have time to deal with everyone's little whims.
