ps3 tool

i saw a ps3 tool at the gamescom (ubisoft stand, assassins creed 2 demonstration, the french dude played the game on it.)

it looked like a ps3 test, but tool written on it instead of test, same form factor.

anyone here got one of those? seen one? for sale maybe even?

no, i did not take a picture, it was prohibited (because of the demo) and they were watching me good when approaching the machine.

no, most certainly not.

 

I believe you're referring to the recently released DECH-1400A, alphagamer.

It seems to basically be a redesigned DECR-1000A, but made to fit comfortably inside the shell of a regular PS3.

Various bits and pieces of info can be found on notable sites, including the instruction manual actually.

I still prefer the look of the decr1000a, atleast with the old unit you have something that looks different.
