DO NOT WATCH CHILDREN'S SHOWS!! For the hell of it, my wife and I flipped the TV over to PBS Kids "Sprout" for a couple of hours. We have not laughed so hard in years. Half the time we MST3K it. The other half, we don't have to since the target audience seems to be children with ADD and drooling problems. And then we got to "Thomas the Tank Engine." Forget the train and tunnel euphemisms, George Carlin is the narrator. George "Seven Dirty Words" Carlin was narrating a children's show. It becomes impossible to breathe when you see a train ramming into a passenger car and George says (I don't remember the train's actual name): "and Percy's tailpipe was leaking after *ramming* the passenger cars all day long" (George's emphasis).
You mean to say you guys in the US had a different Narrator to the original British version? Ringo Starr from the beetles was the Narrator for the original Thomas the Tank from 1985 to 1991 then Michael Angelis took over (Who ever he is). Why change from good old Ringo? Yakumo
