Hey guys, i'm gonna get a PS3 soon (and also a Full HDTV), and need some guidelines since don't know much about creating accounts and so on. 1) I'll need to create a New User on the console for any New PSN Account? For example, Johnny1 and Johnny2 "Users" on the PS3. And then create two PSN accounts, PSNUS for the Johnny1 and PSNEURO for the Johnny2? (I want to have two PSN accounts because i'll need to get some stuff from the euro PSN) 2) Can i create the PSN accounts on the PC, using this link? (Hope so, better than doing it on a controller) https://store.playstation.com/accounts/register/beginNewAccountRegistrationFlow.action I got this link on the NorthAmerica website. If i choose Portugal while creating the account (instead of North America), will it create an Euro account right? Or i'll need to create it using a link on the European website? If it's possible to create the PSN accounts on the PC, all i'll need to do is create two users on the PS3 (when i get it) and then when i go to the PlayStation Network User Account tab, instead of creating one, i'll only need to do is select Existing Account and put the Sign-In ID e-mail and password right? 3) The e-mail required for the Sign-In ID must be different for those two accounts? 4) Do i need valid adresses while creating these accounts? Like you guys know, i live in Brazil. Any ideas of adresses i might use? (don't want to be banned in the future for using a fake adress)
Hi Johnny! 1) I'll need to create a New User on the console for any New PSN Account? No you can just login to psn with different email and pass all with the same user if you wish.. just dont forget the email and pass combinations for all u'r accounts! (I want to have two PSN accounts because i'll need to get some stuff from the euro PSN) I have about 10 accounts 2) Can i create the PSN accounts on the PC, using this link? (Hope so, better than doing it on a controller) https://store.playstation.com/accounts/register/beginNewAccountRegistrationFlow.action I got this link on the NorthAmerica website. If i choose Portugal while creating the account (instead of North America), will it create an Euro account right? Or i'll need to create it using a link on the European website? Yes.. you can create on pc.. just select which region you want.. it's actually not bad at all doing it on the ps3 though 3) The e-mail required for the Sign-In ID must be different for those two accounts? Yea one email per account 4) Do i need valid adresses while creating these accounts? Like you guys know, i live in Brazil. Any ideas of adresses i might use? (don't want to be banned in the future for using a fake adress) I have used fake addresses for all of mine.. (though the postal code must match the country) you can do so if you wish... doubt they would ever choose to ban ppl for this.. seeing how they want your $$ and all. Well hope this clears things up a bit for you... also each account can be active on a total of 5 consoles at one time, and many purchased games can be active on all 5 aswell
1)yes 2)also yes, I used it a week ago to make a PSN HK account (I already have an Euro, US and Japanese accounts) 3)most likely (you'll need a valid e-mail during the account creation) 4) just look in the yellowpages...
Thanks for the help guys. I hope i have everything ready to go (PS3 + FullHD TV) possibly till mid November. The new 250GB models is what makes me wait a little bit more. And _SD_ i'll surely remember you. One of my European games is Motorstorm Pacific Rift. And i have plans to get the 2 DLCs released for it.
When I made my international accounts, I used addresses for hotels. They're easy enough to find online and are usually in the right format. If things haven't changed, you'd need 4 separate accounts to access everything put out on PSN; United States, Hong Kong, Japan, and Europe.
