Bought a bunch of PSOnes (the small PS's) and a couple the lid wouldnt shut.

The Hinges are just fine. I know it is the way the mechanism within the eject button is set up. When i took it apart the thing wasnt hooked up in anyway. I put it back together the best i could. But cant fix it. can anyone give detailed instructions on how to put together the mechanism correctly?

The part that slides sideways gets grimy / gritty. Clean it and put some plastic grease in there.

I love how the PSOnes have 'reset' printed on the power button. But no matter how softly you pushed it, just turned the system off.

I know, a little off topic, but hey... just remembered.

Lol that always happens to me if I have to fix something mechanical. I don't know how to set it up, but you might want to write it down the next time :110:

I didnt have a chance the mechanism was already off when i opened it up.

That has happened to me one time to many, so I always take plenty of photos while disassembling now. That has the added bonus that I can go back and watch the pictures if I later forgot to check something be fore reassembling.

my psone started to have this problem 3 years after i got it. i should open it up and clean it out but most things involving a laser assembly i screw up and it doesn't work right somehow even if i don't need to touch it
