US PSONE for SALE, lcd monitor and mayumi v4 installed

This has a color lcd monitor and mayumi v4 modchip installed. Very clean.

How do they work with pal-games, ive heard there could be some problems with the colors?

 

The one pal game I have here looks pretty bad. Its in black and white. It also runs a little slower it seems. Ill try a few more tomorrow and get back to you. I think there is a way to patch pal games so they run better.

 

You can do a 1 wire mod to force pal (but I doubt your us TV works with pal, so you won't be able to test it) or you can use rgb with no issue.

I don't know if the built in screen accept pal, if memory serves ntsc ones only worked in ntsc and pal ones only worked in pal. But someone correct me if im wrong

 

Nah your probably right. I have no idea and honestly don't care if pal works because I will never have a need to play pal games. But I will look into the 1 wire mod if this person above wants it.

 

So, if I use an RGB-cabel, it wont be a problem? I do own an PS1 RGB-cable, so that should fix it then, if I understand you correctly. My collection is a combination of Pal and ntsc-games, which is why i am interested to know.

Ok, thanks alot! I am not in a hurry, but looking forward to eventually getting one. My four original PS1s have all had troubles with the disc drive, but i heard the PSOne is much more realiable which is nice.
