    Hello there,
I've a Sony PsOne console model SCPH 102. I opened it for a general maintenance, cleaning its inside. I am sure i did not damage anything inside it. After the cleaning, i closed the console. Now it does not spin any cd! Laser blinks, the laser motor tries to spins the CD two times very slowly and stops. That's all.
    Any idea?
    Thanks..

It seems like the motor is not receiving enough power or it has something jammed inside, when you spin it with your hands does it spin smoothly?
In that case check all the connections to the motor again, even the minimum damage to a cable can reduce the power intensity that it gets.

Thanks for your answer. Yes, i tried spinning it (helping it to spin) with my hands but nothing changed. It stops after spinning the cd so slowly, 2 times circle..
Actually i noticed that the yellow lens cable (the wide one) has a leg a little damaged. I mean one of the legs has a very little damaged metal. Could this be the main problem?
I have no idea how to repair it, though..

I'm not sure if the yellow cable transfers power to the motor and unluckily I'm not able to open my PSOne to check it out for the moment, but in case it does it can be causing a power shortage in the motor, not allowing it to spin at full speed. However, as I couldn't check the inside of my PSOne carefully I can't tell you for the moment how to repair it or if repairing it will solve the problem...
