    Hi Guys,

    First post on the forum.

I have been trying to mod my Scph-100 console with Eurasia's Jap MM3 Modchip, but it doesn't work. I cannot find any mod diagrams with the same board. Tried around 6 different diagrams but nothing works. No imports or backups. Can someone please tell me if they have worked on this board or have seen it before. Or is it a non modable board? ( is there anything like that). Any help will be highly appreciated.

    Thanks

Only jap backups will work, no imports. You can patch backups to be japanese before burning to work though.

One thing I will mention, I sell modchips too and I have had more than one person who has had issues with eurasia chips buy from me and then have it work. Dont know why, as eurasia have been at it a long time and its not exactly complicated.

Thanks Bad_Ad84. I'll try that diagram. I actually want the PS1 to play my NTSC US & PAL original games. Hence wanted the imports to work. But I guess it is not possible with this console. Is there a possibility of running imports on the console with some other Modchip?

    Thanks

No, there is no modchip that will allow imports on a Jap PSone (or pretty much any japanese console, other than very early SCPH-1000's).

You would be better getting a US console or a PAL console if you are in Europe. For the PAL console you would need a ONEchip modchip. For the US, you would use MM3 or Mayumi v4 (but the one you have wont work, as it needs to be a US MM3, not Jap).

    Edit:

You could use a loader disc, which would work.

Thanks for the reply. What is a loader disc? How does it work & where to get them?

    Thanks

heres some I have to hand. I have not personally used them, but I would assume you need to use the iplightjp one.

Boot that disc first, change disc for game you want to play and press go/boot/start/whatever
