All my friends' PSP Slims *2000 series* have 4 brightness levels. Mine has 3. I feel inadequate, please explain. How many levels of brightness is a PSP 2000 supposed to have? Is this a panel issue? How many levels of brightness did the PSP 1000 have? My best guess is that it's maybe an early 2K model? I have googled but found no info regarding the brightness levels, and wikipedia lists all PSP models to have 4, in which case that makes me special in a bad way.
All PSP have 4. Levels 1-3 can be accessed normaly Level 4 can only be accessed while the unit is plugged into the wall (power). The thing is, Your friends are running CFW on their psp as that is able to unlock the use of the 4th level with out needing to be plugged into the wall.
