Note to admins: I hope I posted this in the right spot. Hello all! For those that don't know, I am the founder/creator of the now retired pspdemocenter. I have resurrected the site as a preservation digital archive only now. Before, the site included forums and such, this time around only the demos will be available for download both through the PSP browser and a computer browser. Thus the new title Demo Archive for PSP. I believe the collection is over 200 demos/apps at this point. And I still have quite a few more to add. Many people have asked over the years "why demos?" Well, when I first created PDC back in 2006, it was a way for me to quickly interchange demos without needing my computer. I was being lazy That quickly turned into something that everyone could enjoy. I wanted a place where every demo from everywhere in the world was easily accessible in one place. For those that don't know or don't remember, back then you could only get demos for the region that you were registered for. Personally I didn't think that was fair and made it my mission to get them all. Kinda like pokemon fanatics, "gotta catch 'em all" lol. Nowadays, I believe it's even more important to maintain this archive and keep it alive. PSP games themselves are slowly becoming more and more scarce. Especially with the fragile nature of a UMD. These demos, however, allow people to reminisce with their PSP's as well as allow future generations have the ability to see what made the PSP so awesome. I still have a few different PSP devices myself and still enjoy playing the demos from time to time. Even my kids enjoy them over the PS3 or PS4. I'm the only one that is currently maintaining this archive so adding more demos to it is kinda slow at the moment but there's still plenty to enjoy. I even got permission from Volition to convert the unreleased Saints Row into a playable demo on OFW 6.60 and include it in the archive, which is coming soon. So feel free to check out the site linked below from your favorite device or PSP browser. Also available as an Android app. Please note that the site is still a work in progress but is 100% functional in serving it's purpose in providing downloadable demos. On a side note, it's a huge pet pieve of mine when people share links to stuff but don't maintain them for future users. I am very adament about keeping these demos live as long as I am alive. I may even have my son continue the preservation. That's how dedicated I am. So if you have any issues, please let me know and I'll fix it as soon as possible. Cheers everyone! power7714 http://pspdemoarchive.com/
wow I remember your page from back then. Nice to see you still being so dedicated to the PSP.. even after so many years! Thanks for this & Good luck!
Thanks. I refuse to let the greatest handheld die even if Sony abandoned it. Personally, I don't think the Vita is much of a successor to the PSP. :/
