As you may know, the PSP has an infrared port. My laptop also has an infrared port. I was wondering if there are any possibilities to manipulate this. Any thoughts? (aka, PSP as universal remote, running a psp emulator on your pc and playing against a local PSP, opening garage doors, etc...) If this has already been suggested, my apologies. -Sean

Someone has already written an app to use an IR keyboard (not that it is useful for much) and there is a remote application that works on certain Sony brand TV's.

Natively the PSP has no use of the IR port, you need some more software to make it use the thing.
