Yeah I kinda think the same, and about GTA, well that isnt exactly a port, but more like an expansion, but on the worst GTA ever...
So? is obvious they want to squeeze the license until is bone dry. And about that upcoming PSP GTA, I'm sure this time is going to be Vice City related.
i personally think gta3 was the best of them. The first one where sluggish and more like concepts. Others after gta3 was just milking. Gta VC had nothing new apart of buyable places and "OMG! motos!1!", And i couldnt stand the last one. Those game never interested me anyway, it fun for 10 minutes, but after that... Its a game that try to do everything, but succed in nothing.
2D GTA sucked, no doubt about that, but about the 3D ones, well GTA3 was more like a "try and see what happens" since the level design seemed too simple and the was little to do since everything seems limited in the game. I'm kinda neutral in this, but most GTA fans I know agree that Vice City is the best GTA ever released.
I have to agree that Vice city is the best of the GTA games thus far. In itself it wasent that much diffrent from GTA III but it was great for me since my uncle is like my best friend and he is a child of the 80s. He loves vice city for its music and atmosphere. We spent countless nights with a stopwatch seeing who could out run the cops the longest. We would also do stupid things like trying to get to the second area earlier in the game by jumping a motorcycle over a fence and landing on a boat lol. We actually did it but it took us some time to do. And now back on topic, that loading time is insane. I hope that not a majority of PSP games load like that. I was really thinking of getting one for the upcoming release of Mega Man Powered Up and power stone 2.
Shitty former TV-game coders and a disc based handheld came together in a marriage of loading hell. That's what this is. Love the Benny Hill music. I laughed everytime it ended and began again.
There are a few demos out. You sadly need to leave a $5 preorder at a local gamestop to get one. The demos avalible are Daxter, Syphon filter, Pursuit force & 2 others i cant think of their names. The daxter & syphon filter ones are pretty damn good.
I actually worked on this game. I got to draw some of the little signs the crowd holds up in the background. For the record, we did tell them this was a problem.
And this brings me to the question: how much is this game at retail? I mean, is one of those "el cheapo" that go for $20 or less? Cuz if that's the case I can see why they didnt bother with loading times...
Yeah, I got to draw about 11 of them, the ones that came out the best are "Christy Rocks!" and "My Favorite Diva." You can see them a lot more clearly in the console version.
