    I'll be updating this thread as I either get more motherboards and/or take them apart. :p

    Major thanks to ChiefPFF because he was able to take hell of alot better pictures than me.

    now we need to have the smaller revisions ( we now have pics of the series )

    Note: I do not have the TA-090 ( PSP-2000 series ) or the TA-075 motherboards listed due to a lack of t, b, p and images. Until I see proof that these do exists they are going under the "mythboard" area.

    I had two TA-079 PSPs...
    One pretty old japanese model and one a bit newer with 1.1 tachyon...

    The earliest one died few months ago and it really made me sad...

    As you can see, you can use the tachyon, baryon and pommel values to know the part number of the installed chips. And there's also a way to query Lepton version but I think the devs never had interest in putting that in the apps.

    Edit : Lepton and Tachyon were at wrong positions.

    PSPDemon, turns out I had most models already scanned.. so I just scanned the slim boards I had to hand as well. More scans than you can shake a stick at here..

    http://img7.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=ta090187701611b.jpg.

    Unfortunately, imageshack removed all the formatting in the pics. So where the image is named ta090187701611b.jpg..

    TA090 = Model Number
    187701611 = 1-877-016-11 = Sony Part Number
    B = Side of Board

    I think you can grab the direct image URLs for your post from that gallery.

    :)

    PS. I humblely apologise for any pubes, dandruff or other debris caught in the scans ><

    The pommel chip changes on the TA-082 only because all boards up to the TA-081 were running with a 3.3v I/O CPU. When the TA-082 released they changed the NAND flash bus to operate at 1.8v, making the DMS3 made "Undiluted Platinum" modchip useless. That same board contained a modification on the clock generator circuit which made the old kernel 1.5 unusable, breaking the hacks for a while.

    The Pommel version change reflects the changes on the power circuitry.
