Is this one of the protos that has the flap covering the read area? I had heard someone mention them in another post but I never saw a picture of one and was kind of curious.
I thought it had been you that asked for the pictures of it, back on the thread about the UMD's destroying themselves. I'd love to see some pics of the underside as well, I'm curious about the protective cover that Sony used then decided not to implement. You wouldn't think that a retracting/sliding flap covering the read area would have cost them any signifigantly extra amount to implement and would have saved PSP owners a great deal of headaches. 3.5" floppy discs have had protective covers since their inception which was at least 25 years ago, and how much does a floppy cost now? Next to nothing, if you can even buy them anymore.
The ones that have the flap are completely blank. They don't even say "UMD" in the middle. I've only ever seen the one i have, but i would assume there are more. My guess is somewhere between 10 and 20 of them. I can't take pictures right now, but i have some plans for the future...
Yeah funny dude, I just cheked the options and the "disply images?" box is marked, so I don't know why it doesn't work.
