PSP Street problem

Hi,
I got a psp street from a friend that also has it from a friend. The psp supposedly was droped on the floor.
The psp powers on, i get a white screen (the backlight) and after a second gets more bright.
I opened the system and the screen doesn't seem to be broken.

 

Is it still connected to the board?

 

Yes, the screen is connected to the motherboard. No visible demage to the connector or ribbon cable.
