Not worth it... Simply because most features wont be usable without a real test/tool and you lose a lot of functionality compared to just installing CFW + psplink.
The testing tool and development tool are not as small as your PSP ist, they are actualyl giant computer sized boxes with VGA Display out, a small linux running the CP etc. The controller to it looking like the different flavours of PSP are just that, a controller. There is actually no tech in it aside from the display. The firmware is that far different from the one running on a PSP, that is it most likely total impossible to get this firmware to run on a PSP.
Oh i see, but what about the devlopment tool firmware too? What features are stored to that one if u guys don't mind? Is it the same functions as how the testing tool would work or completely different? Thanks!
Well the hardware is totaly something diffrent, search for a pic of the device. The "fridge" contains all the hardware, the PSP like thing is just the controller as I said. Imagine it as a totally different device, which is just PSP (MIPS) based and has total different hardware.
Reviving a dead thread here: So.. I'm stuck in the same situation, as I've accidentally downgraded and as stated, you need 4.00 to update higher, but 4.00 seems notoriously hard to find. Anyone out there have a suggestion?
