Not this again... You've already destroyed one dev kit and recycled it. I honestly think you should just sell the controller to someone who can use it.
/me blinks. I feel like i'd like to hear this story... also, controllers are dirt cheap right now- I just picked up 2 spare off ebay from a seller with a lot of like 10, so it's the most minimal part of the expenditure possible. -EDIT- also, shouldn't this be in WTB?
This is why this needs to be locked. PM me if you'd like to hear the story. Are you talking about the same controllers? Because the controller for the DTP is a wired PSP- A PSP with no battery and a massive, permanent cable out the back- and not a PS2 controller.
Wait, recycled?? I remember him talking about trying to get it working, but if it was truly dead it's still a cool paperweight. :livid: And, um, I really need a power supply for one of these... Does that mean there's a spare one somewhere???
if you're talking about the external power supply, some sony laptop power supplies work. if you mean the internal one, good luck, there's no replacement unless you find another dead DTP, or go directly to sony for service on the unit. what exactly is it that you want out of this thread? advice, sales, technical help? If you're looking to buy, this should be a WTB thread, not a development forum thread.
Yeah, I was just asking about the external power supply... I have a power supply that will work with the system, but would like an original to complete the collection... Probably should just make my own WTB thread in the correct place. I was actually more interested in happened to his original DevKit. Also- keep your eyes on eBay for DevKits... You just missed one about a week ago or so.
