Howsit? I had a CFW'ed PSP2000 had it with a stock 1200mA Sony battery. Worked fine with that. My son showed interest in it, so I cracked out my spare PSP2000 and CFW'ed that for him. However, it needed a battery so I purchased 2 from ebay. Put the batteries in, the cover was bit tight as the battery sat a bit taller (traced that down to the battery terminals they used were sat a bit taller), seemed to work fine simply powering on and viewing the memory card. However the next day, went to power them on and nothing. The both work with the external power supply. On one of them if I angle the battery just right it will work, the other...nothing. i am guessing the batteries may have done some sort of damage to the terminals in the PSP, I am yet to have a look (time is scarce these days with a wife with 2 broken ankles and a 6 year old running about), but asking if anyone has seen this before? Cheers EDIT Sorted - it was these damn aftermarket batteries! The battery terminals and the plastic case aren't right, they don't surround (and therefor grip) the terminals in the console, but sit on top of them. Sadly it took me stripping the PSP down, removing the board to see what the hell was going on. I might have to mod the battery to hopefully fit, or try and get another stock battery and simply replace the cell.
