I'm not sure if this is better suited in the Sony forum or in the WTB forum, but i'll give it a shot in the Sony forum first.

Does anyone know of any sites that still have ntsc PSP2TV's still in stock? I know this item is rather old, and once used, it can't really be resold because it "becomes one" with a particular PSP.

Does anyone have any leads/ideas? I just kind of want to play my psp on my tv.....with a ps2 controller.

You should check the ben heck forums for adding a ps2 pad to a psp without much effort.

No effort at all (but might be quite expensive):

PSP GO + PS3 + SixAxis or Dualshock 3 = PSP GO connected to SixAxis/Dualshock 3 through bluetooth...

I've tried it and it's awesome.

Coupled with a PSP component cable that would indeed be sick.

I checked out stuff similar to that, and it looks like you need an electrical engineering degree and a small laboratory to do it. It seemed like it well exceeded my skills.

I am, however, 101% confident I can successfully install a psp2tv, as it requires zero knowledge about soldering, etc.

psp2tv is pretty nice- had one a few years back, the video out leaves a lot to be desired as compared to a psp2k or later, but it's still a nice device-
doesn't support ps mice, analog controller, negcon, or twinsticks properly, sadly, but ps2 and ps dualshocks are fine.

Modified faceplate is a little shoddy, sadly, and make sure if you get a set, that it has all 3 faceplates as you'll probably need one after some time.

Actually, it can be removed fairly easily (just as 'easy' as installing it). I had one for a while, and then removed and reset my PSP back to normal as I never really used it much.

Anyone remember the obnoxious one that was basically a camera that mounted over the screen of the PSP? They actually sold that at the local Fry's Electronics stores here in CA... Never saw it in use, but thought it was kind of funny...

I still kind of want a PSP with an Undiluted Platinum installed (properly). That's a mod that requires an engineering degree to install! :)
