I knew somebody could have a device connected through the UMD drive and serve as a peripheral utility! :)

But it doesn't connect through the UMD Drive. The kit comes with a replacement faceplate that has all the connections. You then connect it to the docking station(the bit with the AV out and PS2 port).
There are 2 other PSP2TV products that use a clip on mirror capturing device or something so you dont have to open your PSP and void your warranty.

Looks pretty cool. Much better than that huge camera clip on. The PS2 controller connector is a fanstastic touch (though who would want to hold their PSP with that huge thing clipped on).

Although cool, I don't feel like modding my PSP just yet. I did mod my GBA years ago with that TV Out Adaptor, then build my own video output device... but the PSP screen is so nice... nicer than a lot of TVs, I just don't feel the need. Only problem is it's refesh rate.

this is beeen in discussion within the psp homebrew comunity, and i must say that it is a welcome for people like me who need a new cover, since even though you can still see the screen fine, my psp faceplate is got variuos scrathces on it, as welll as alot of smudged, so i might have to get one of those faceplates whe their released.
