So is this using the built software to play a PS1 game (how/where did they get the ps1 game?)? Or just running android software? I pretty much expect this to run ps1 software out of the gate but I'm just curious how it's all implemented. Would my already purchased ps1 games from PSN be instantly available or would I have to repurchase my library for the device. -edit- Nm, I think he is just simply using an android PS1 emu to play roms. Meh (i'm curious about the psn integration, not that it runs stuff other android phones run).
Is android OS of course, at some point you can see the ROM buddy app, which runs PSX too. No idea on the PSN thing, guess they must or else they loose a lot of customers before its even at the store.
Yeah but the controls are crap. I'd consider the above phone almost purely for the controls. -Disjaukifa
That's fair, granted we have no idea how that touch pad in the middle will be for games. But that looks so horrible. If it's simply a better than average android phone running a psp emulator, who cares? Get a psp and a decent android phone Sometimes convergence isn't the best thing ever. *cough..ngage..cough*
I wanted a NGage back in the day, so glad I didn't get one!!! One of those devices that was WAY to ahead of its time but also didn't have the technology advancement for it either. Its a mix, it really depends on what you want, if you want a phone that can play games well, I think the above phone would be great because of the built-in controller, and I'm not just talking about PSP games. However if you just want to surf the web, text and chat, yeah get something else. -Disjaukifa
