I've imported an FC-16 Go version 2 (Portable SNES) to the UK and have a quick PSU query as I don't want to fry it :)

The US PSU it comes with is '5v - 1.0A'.

I have a UK PSU on which you can select different voltages between 3 and 7v.

However the 5v option on this UK PSU says '5v - 2.5A'

    I also have a PSP PSU that is '5v - 2A'

Can I use either of these to power my FC-16 Go?

The PSP one is regulated so will give 5V, the unit will only draw 1A so you don't have to worry about increasing voltage from an unregulated unit.

The only thing you need to make sure of is the connector and the polarity as one needs to fit and the other needs to be correct or you will fry the unit.

Thanks, got a connector to fit and have got the polarity set the same as I use with my NTSC Turbo Express and the FC-16 Go powers up fine. It's working well and not fried yet.

FC-16 Go is working fine and just for the record - you can play PAL SNES games on it using a standard converter :) Becomes a bit hard to hold though so I recommend using the wireless pads for this.
