okay, so I got 4 PSX DESR consoles 2 White 5100 1 silver 5100 and 1 white 5500. I replaced the fuse on the PSX 5500 PSU and it worked!!! All consoles booted up to the XMB... until I put the 5500 PSU in a silver 5100 and it was working for awhile, but then for some reason it turned off and I couldn't get it to show the red light again and boot up... it's just dead. I tried to see if it was the power supply that was at fault.... big mistake as I put the psu in another 5100 but this time the ribbon that connects to the top of the consoles casing to the HDD came lose and the PSX turned off. I put the ribbon back in and all the console LEDs lighted up and I hear a loud high pitch noise coming from the console, now whenever I plug in the cord the red led does not show up and all i can hear is a high pitched beeping sound (it is similar to when you first turn the PSX or PS3 console on HELP
