looks like the guy from the video was able to install a modchip in the PSX who realties can explain how he did it, and whether the menu XMB work when the chip? he does not show it on the video, I have the same model as the PSX on video
and you can repeat it and test the menu XMB and the launch games and applications menu XMB? I think it would be interesting for everyone
FMCB not interested, I already have it, I would like to look at the PSX job with modchip installed in the XMB menu, and see whether from the XMB is still set to run games and applications that will not affect whether this is the work Modchip
FMCB requires you to patch all the .iso files before you boot them. This modchip lets you run I'm assuming different region and or copies games. I'm all for this!
Having to use a memory card with a replacement for the OSD sounds pretty stupid. Sorry. The OSD on the PSX is too different than the regular PS2, that's the reason why modchips won't work on the PSX. So he uses a boot menu to "fix" that. FMCB does the same thing for you without modding the console. The only thing he gains from that is the possibility of using unpatched PS2 discs and PS1 discs with it. What effect the modchip has on the DVR features? Etc etc.
