PSX RMT-P001 remote with PS2

    Are they compatible? Can't find anything on the net if the RMT-P001 works like SCPH-10150. Does anybody know this?

    no one has a japanese PSX and a PS2 to test this out?

    Not compatible, different encoding. Also the PSX won't accept signals from the PS2 remote controller.
