On eBay I noticed there was a Psychopad joystick controller that was compatible with with the Playstation, Saturn, and SNES. Has anyone ever seen this in an actual store? It looks pretty interesting, as another ebay listing reveals it uses something like a DB25 port to connect with some kind of adapter, presumably holding the circuit board needed to play the joystick on a system. It kinda makes me wonder if there are easy enough projects that convert simple buttons/microswitches to consoles rather than buying a $60 specialized pcb.
I seen that controller but just compatible with ps and SS not with the snes. You can make your own project with arcade controller parts just solder the microswitches to the console controller pcb.
I know, but the biggest pita is buying a project box to hold the pcbs. That part of the project I hate because I need to get my hands on a dremel to make room for the serial ports.
Great box art! There is a pair of these on eBay Canada at the moment - missing the cables unfortunately: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/2-SNES-SUPER.../230853882226?pt=Games_US&hash=item35bff6b172
That box art is reason enough to want one of these. Wish I could get a giant poster of that, but I'm probably not psycho enough.
