This is basically the only non-nintendo item I have...
Never had a Sega console (never will) but this should be a prototype of Puyo Puyo 2 for the Sega Genesis. Correct me if Im wrong.

Feel free to make me an offer (money or nintendo development stuff that you can trade) via e-mail: shiggsy -at- gbadev.org
Offers sent by PM will not be replied to (or taken into consideration).

    I place a bid of $25.00 USD :smt023

I must note though, it has been discussed in the moderator forum about steering away from "open to offers" type posts to ''offers in the region of $xx.xx or trade for [insert wants]" posts so people have a clearer perspective on the situation, aswell as seeing other people's bids etc so they know the seller isn't falsely bumping up the prices.

As a moderator most rightly said in the private boards "If sellers want people to bid then they should sell the shit on eBay"

Granted none of these changes are in effect - yet, but it is not unreasonable to assume one day they will be :douga

    Hello,

This very much look like Sega Card game for the Master System !!!

I could be wrong, but $35 for this item would be my offer.

    Let me know if interested.

Actually judging from the design and pinout it looks very much like a game gear game.

Good point. What is the size of the cartriage slot, topic creator?

  6. I'm wondering what the deal is with the switch on the left side, that has me a bit interested. Shiggsy, have you a friend with a Game Gear you could plug the thing into to test it?

Its is DEFINITELY a GG cart. THe pinout is the BIG giveaway. Second, the 3volt battery is the regular battery used to power CMOS chips on PCs and thats only 1 or 2cm wide.

BTW, its Nazo Puyo^2 if anyone hasn't figured that out yet. Pretty good proto board though as it has SRAM and a 1M/2M selectable MMC.

Yeah, that makes sense...it does say "GG" on the ROM chips :p
The width of the bottom part of the PCB is 67mm

No sorry. The closest ive come to a GameGear was 10 years ago when I tried one briefly.

    I have no idea.

Its not a suicide battery... its but a normal CR2032 for retaining the SRAM.

Sorry to drag this topic into OTness, but what's the point in being so adamant about never owning a Sega console? They can all be had cheap nowadays (okay, with the exception of the Sega AI and CDX) and there's so many (good) games you can't seriously mean you dont like a single one of them :smt042

I was wondering the same thing, but considering it was likely out of some sort of religious Nintendo devotion :smt042 , I thought asking would only ignite a flamewar.

I dont care if they are cheap, I would never use them anyway so I see no reason to buy them. And no, its not just SEGA consoles, I dont have a NES, SNES etc either.

Thats not the case. See above.
