    Hey everyone,

So I'm reading this description regarding a condition of a PC Engine game and it says this "Huカードのラベルがスリープに密着してしまい、若干ですが剥がれています。"

So I take it to roughly mean something like this:

Hu "ka-a-do" (card) 's "ra-be-ru" (label) "would be closely/completely covered" (comma) "is a little bit" "but" "being peeled off".

But I must be wrong as Hu Card's don't come with labels? It's all printed on the card directly? Or are they talking about the Sleeves they come with? Or maybe the cases spine label?

I tried my best! (^_^); Can anyone put this to rest for me? :)

Either way ,part of it is missing is the intent.

It's not saying part of it is missing I think, 剥げれる implies only peeling of, not some of the label being torn and missing. Anyway, the gist of it is that the label on the card has ended up adhering to the sleeve, which has made it so the label is peeled off a bit from the card.

Ah, that makes total sense. Another reason why I hate those vinyl sleeves.

It's a common problem with HuCards. While I like to have my games in complete condition, those sponges and vinyl sleeves are just predestined to deteriorate. Sometimes they stick to the HuCards and it taking it out feels like removing one of those free shower gel samples from a magazine.

it means the label on the Hu-card is sticking to the sleeve.

I use special sleeves which are non-acidic and are designed for board games to protect my Hu Cards. They are perfectly sized too. I only keep my original Hu sleeves for trades and people who want things to be complete.

Out of interest, what title is it?
I've never really come across this as an issue for standard official cards.
But the Games Express (Hacker International) ones are piss poor quality and the card image is very prone to sleeve stick.

Some Game Express Hu Card. Was priced lower than usual, but considering the label is messed up, not low enough.

As I thought. This isn't an issue with 'proper' hucards.

(Also, why are you looking at Games Express titles...perv haha!)

    Haha.

Yeah, I was wondering about this. I'm not an avid HuCard collector but I've come across many in my day and don't recall this.

As GaijinPunch can vouch for it, I'm on a PC Engine bonanza phase of my life. :)
