3 or 4 years ago i went in a electronic expo (Empoli, near to Florence , Italy) and i was walking around the sellers stands , when i found this : the fake psp version , called PVP. i got it for 15€ by a guy that was from Naples. In the box there are : AV cable, a little bag for the console , the charger (equal to the GBA one), a little paper with instructions, and obviously the PVP (with a game cartridge , it has 10-15 games that are repeated in the list a lot of times xD). And this is the console when is ready: Unfortunately , with the overtime , the LCD screen got a big imperfection while it runs games. There's a black line during the emulation. However , nothing tragical: All games of course are running in NTSC-J version. This is a old video that i made , if you want to see : Ah yes ! the console has other games into it , so you can play without the cartridge. However , there's not so many differences with the game list. Maybe 3 or 4 , but the others are identical. I searched on Google and i saw that there are many versions of this console. Mine is "Pocket 18" but i think that , apart games , it doesn't change so much in general. Thanks for reading!
I guess this is the successor to the mighty 'PCP' console - although this one looks like it's a bit of a step up in terms of technology. I've always assumed they called it PCP because the only way to get any enjoyment out of it is if you're actually high on pcp when playing.
the cool thing about most dodgy chinese stuff like phones, handheld games ect. Is they all seem to use nokia batteries
I've got another Chinese hand held emulation effort coming in about a week with a massive 7" screen. Should be a good review.
