Does the PVP Console ( http://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?SearchText=pvp&catId=&initiative_id=AS_20140408182831 ) play GBA Games? DO PVP carts work in the GBA? Any info is great, thanks.
Just looking at the first ones I would think the "cartridge" on top is probably fixed and not removable since there are no shots of just the cart by itself. The rest of them are just PSP knock offs. I bought one years back and it's cheap feeling buttons, screen is terrible, and there is no way to play legit cartridges or UMDs.
It would appear that it's just an NES clone in a PSP ripoff form factor; so, no, it probably doesn't play GBA games. From the video you just linked: "It's just another Playstation ripoff that comes loaded with NES games." So there's your answer.
I should have realized it couldn't. But I was just wondering because the carts are shaped like GBA Do you think it would work on a GBA?
Probably not; but even if it did, would you really want to? It's just a bunch of NES roms. Lots of those handheld clones have parts that are made to resemble hardware from other consoles/devices. So the fact that it looks like a GBA cart doesn't mean it actually is one.
I have seen one and played one. It's cartridge system seems to be proprietary and GBA carts do not work in it and the PVP carts do not work in GBAs. But there seems to be a lot of different PVP versions. Some are Genesis and some are NES.
It plays Nes games. I have one. My advice is don´t buy it. The emulation is poor and the controls are terrible, but for collection... is only around 14$
PVP's are NOAC Famiclones and PVP2's are GOAC MD clones. Both have built in games if no cart is inserted. As mentioned the carts are proprietary and not compatible with anything else. My PVP2 has video out, but it's a PAL mono signal. The game system comes bundled with a multi-game cart, but there's several variations of carts and I've never seen them sold separately.
