Having just watched The Hateful Eight for the first time as well as watching both Pulp Fiction and Death Proof again, I wanted to create a thread regarding his films. I'd like to see which rank high and low for different users. Mind you, just because I put one down in 8th doesn't mean it's a bad movie or that I didn't like it. Given his stellar filmography, it's hard to pick favorites... 8. Death Proof 7. Jackie Brown 6. Kill Bill 5. The Hateful Eight 4. Django Unchained 3. Inglourious Basterds 2. Reservoir Dogs 1. Pulp Fiction
6.Death Proof 5.Inglorious Bastards 4.Jackie Brown 3.Kill Bill 2. Pulp Fiction 1.Reservoir Dogs (haven't seen Django or Hateful Eight yet) (guess I'll fire up Django on netflix tonight and update list as needed)
City of Fire Lady Snowblood.... Oh wait.......... You mean Tarantino movies not the movies he ripped off.
A+ on reading comprehension. Yes, movies he has written and directed. I'll accept Natural Born Killers and True Romance since he technically wrote those.
Actually I was more saying his movies more or less ARE other movies. I can't stand Tarantino. Even though I quote Pulp Fiction's "Pawn Shop" scene from time to time.
6. Jackie Brown 5. Kill Bill 4. Django Unchained 3. Reservoir Dogs 2. Pulp Fiction 1. Inglourious Basterds Pulp fiction was the first Tarantino movie I saw. I thought that it was freaking awesome, but for some reason Inglourious Basterds seemed more complete to me and a more satisfying experience in general. Maybe it's because of the WW2 setting, which is always fascinating for me. I haven't seen all of Tarantino's films, but it seems to me, that it is hard for him to go wrong. P.S Going to see the Hateful Eight next week.
